The Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department will issue a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit to qualified applicants.

A person may apply for a C.C.W. permit Monday through Friday during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The following procedures listed will assist the applicant in the permit process:

• Must have $93.25 check payable to Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department in the form of check, money order or cash.
• Must have a valid picture identification card
• Must present a certificate of training from an approved Concealed Carry Weapons Training Provider.
• Must have a clean Criminal History Check and be available for fingerprints to be processed.

Effective October 1st, 2007 - The Amount for permit changes to $93.25

Handgun Permits
