The Stoddard County Sheriff's Reserve is an all volunteer force that augments and enhances the full time deputy staff. The reserve force is a 12 member staff that participates in several duties around the county. The Reserve Officers provide security patrols at most of the county basketball games during the season. They participate in regular patrol duties that increase the coverage by the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department for the county. Also they provide requested security services such as the Stoddard County Fair and other events that take place in the county. The Reserve Deputies have participated in certified training that is required by the State of Missouri for Peace Officers. The reserve force does not receive any pay and they provide their own equipment. The Stoddard County Sheriff's Department is proud to have these fine individuals serve in our department. The county is fortunate to have persons that care about the welfare of its citizens and are willing to serve.
