K-9 OFFICER ANDY HOLDEN AND K-9 "ROLF"

Deputy Holden is the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department K-9 handler. "Rolf" and Deputy Holden patrol Stoddard County looking for illegal drugs. Also "Rolf" is trained in tracking persons who may be missing or who may be a person who is wanted by Law Enforcement agencies. "Rolf" is not a pet like you have at home but is called a "working dog". We feel fortunate to have a team like Deputy Holden and "Rolf" for Stoddard County.

We have had "Rolf" in service for about a year and a half now and he was purchased through donations by companies and citizens of Stoddard County. "Rolf" is approximately two years old and is a pure breed German Shepard from Europe. We take "Rolf" in the Stoddard County Schools Systems at times un-announced as a deterrent to illegal drug activity in our county schools. The Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department extends a big thank you to the fine citizens of Stoddard County for helping our department obtain a drug dog.
