The Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department provides and manages a 35 bed correctional facility in Bloomfield Missouri. We house and maintain an inmate population of 40 to 50 inmates on a regular basis. We provide hot meals, laundry services and a commissary facility for the inmates.

Our facility was equipped with a new video surveillance system in 2006 to better manage the security of our department and its inmates. In 2006, we also added a state of the art computerized fingerprinting system that is linked directly to the State of Missouri and National Crime Data Base for nearly instant information provided to us over the computer.
